These terms govern your access to and use of the Zedmail service. By creating an account you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
Zedmail provides transactional email sending infrastructure — a REST API and SMTP relay — that lets developers and businesses send email from their own applications. All servers and data are located in Canada.
The service is operated under the trade name Zedmail (zedmail.io) by Ozonagram Ltd, Suite M162, 110 Didsbury Road, Ottawa, Ontario K2T 0C2, Canada.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation. By registering, you represent that the account information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to use Zedmail only to send email for which you have a valid legal basis to contact the recipient. Specifically, you must:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice in serious cases.
New accounts start in sandbox mode. In this mode, sending is limited to 200 emails/day and only to verified test addresses. To send to real recipients you must request production access, subject to approval by our team.
Production accounts are subject to a daily sending limit (default 2,000 emails/day). You may request a higher limit from the Billing page of your dashboard.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries.
The first 200 emails per month are included at no charge for accounts with a payment method on file. Usage above that threshold is billed at the applicable rate (see our homepage for current pricing).
Invoicing occurs on the 1st of each month for the prior month's usage. Amounts below the billing minimum are rolled to the following month. By adding a payment method, you authorise Zedmail to charge your card via our payment processor (Paddle) for monthly usage.
All charges are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if:
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@zedmail.io. Your account data is retained for 90 days following termination, then permanently deleted.
Zedmail and its software components are the property of Ozonagram Ltd and their respective authors. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service. You retain all rights to the content of your emails and your sending data.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zedmail is provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee 100% delivery of emails sent through the service, as delivery depends in part on factors outside our control, such as recipient mail servers.
In no event will Ozonagram Ltd be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you for any cause will not exceed the amounts you have paid us in the preceding three months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Province of Ontario.
We may modify these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-dashboard notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
